The North Face has launched its new Ventrix Jacket, a coat that
eliminates excess heat through movement and effort to achieve balanced warmth
and breathability.
To celebrate the release of Ventrix and its heat release technology,
The North Face has teamed up with musician Maggie Rogers to create
"The Release Project," an immersive digital experience that enables
Rogers' new track, "Split Stones. Layered." Layer per motion With
more motion, more layers of the song are played until the entire track is
finally unlocked.

Maggie rose to fame after her song "Alaska"
was performed by Pharrell Williams during a master class at New York
University. Rogers also appears in the campaign film Venttrix, directed by
filmmaker Grant Singer. The North Face athletes Jimmy Chin, Alex Honnold and
Emily Harrington also appear in the film, which was filmed in Portland and
Mount Hood, Oregon and El Plomo, Chile.

Ventrix is the next evolution of The North Face's
synthetic insulation technology designed for highly aerobic
activities in varying weather conditions. The technology includes laser perforation
of insulation designed to expand and release heat or contract and retain heat
